Our mission
To identify and gently optimize the biological terrain driving chronic illness, inflammation, metabolic strain, immune dysregulation, cognitive decline, and cancer progression, so you can feel more like yourself again.
Quick answer: Terrain medicine looks at the whole environment inside your body, your gut, energy systems, hormones, immune patterns, stress load, and environmental exposures, and how they work together. Instead of chasing one lab result, we map the connections that may be keeping you stuck.
Standard care is often excellent at ruling out emergencies. Many people still leave appointments feeling unheard when fatigue, digestion, hormones, brain fog, or recovery after cancer treatment do not fit neatly into one box.
We ask a warmer, more useful question: what conditions inside your body are making it hard to heal, and how can we support those systems together?
Who we serve
People with complex, long-running symptoms who want clear answers and a true partner in their care.
Our approach
Whole-person care that can include thoughtful testing, nutrition, lifestyle support, and precision therapies when they fit.
Our goal
Help you restore balance, feel steadier day to day, lower unnecessary risk, and rebuild resilience over time.
Our promise
Compassionate care, steady commitment, and practical next steps. Together we work to optimize your terrain for life.
If you need emergency or urgent specialty care, please start there. This path is for complex, ongoing patterns that deserve a fuller map.
Most people do not fit only one box. Your evaluation helps us see which tracks matter most for you right now.

1. Gut and microbiome
Digestion shapes energy, immunity, hormones, and mood. Lingering bloating, reflux, or food reactions often sit upstream of other symptoms. Digestive Health →
2. Metabolic and mitochondrial energy
Afternoon crashes and “tired but wired” days are often cellular, not character. Metabolic Health → · Mitochondrial Health →
3. Hormones and stress chemistry
Thyroid, adrenals, sex hormones, and insulin all talk to each other. Integrative Endocrinology →
4. Immune and inflammatory patterns
We look for why the immune system feels over-reactive or exhausted, not only how to quiet a flare. Autoimmune Care →
5. Environmental and toxic load
Mold, metals, chemicals, and other exposures can quietly amplify multi-system symptoms for patients in Austin, Atlanta, and beyond.
6. Integrative oncology support
For prevention, active treatment, or survivorship, we support recovery capacity and quality of life alongside your oncology team. Integrative Oncology →
7. Cognitive and nervous system resilience
Brain fog and stress physiology are part of the full terrain, connected to gut, mitochondria, sleep, and toxic load.
Your story first. Symptoms, timing, prior labs, stress, sleep, environment, and what matters most to you.
Systems review. Gut, metabolic, hormone, immune, cognitive, and environmental patterns together.
Targeted testing when it helps. Not a giant default panel, only what answers real clinical questions.
A plan that fits your life. Nutrition, lifestyle, and supportive therapies when appropriate.
Clear follow-through. What to track, when to recheck, and how we will know you are improving.
A good match
You want root-cause investigation, not another short visit that ends with “everything looks fine.”
This is less ideal if you only need a quick refill with no history review, or if you need ER-level care today.

Is terrain medicine the same as functional medicine?
They overlap. Both look for root contributors. Our terrain model emphasizes metabolic capacity, environmental load, gut–immune signaling, and care that is individualized rather than protocol-only.
Do my labs have to be “abnormal”?
Not always. Many people have normal standard panels and still have meaningful patterns in history, specialized testing, or how systems interact.
What kinds of concerns do you see most?
Complex chronic patterns across our six tracks: cancer terrain and survivorship, cognitive health, autoimmune resilience, digestive and microbiome health, hormone and metabolic optimization, and toxicity-related multi-system illness.
Can this work with my oncologist or specialists?
Yes. Integrative oncology and complex chronic care are meant to coordinate with your existing team, not replace appropriate specialty care.
Do you offer telehealth?
Yes. Eligible patients can connect by telehealth nationwide, plus in-person care in Atlanta and Austin.
